Meet your Speech-Language Pathologist

  • Becky Bruso, CCC-SLP

  • Becky Bruso is a ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist who has experience working with children and adults in a variety of school, clinical and medical settings. She received her Bachelors Degrees in Liberal Arts & Sciences as well as Communication Disorders from Utah State University, and her Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Akron, Ohio.

Becky is a Utah native. After living abroad with her family in Thailand and South Korea, she spent 5 years finishing her clinical hours and externships in San Antonio, Texas. She has worked in many settings, including elementary schools, private clinics, school for the deaf and hard of hearing, adult rehabilitation/skilled nursing facilities, and an ENT doctor’s office.

Becky and her husband are the parents of 3 incredible daughters. She enjoys spending her free time singing, playing piano, hiking and running with her two dogs, baking, and reading.

“Our 5-year-old daughter was struggling with speech such as final consonant deletion and articulation and phonological delays. Not only is Ms. Becky skilled in her profession but she is amazing with kids. She is patient and works her lessons around an energetic 5-year-old. We have only been working with [her] for a couple months but we are already seeing progress!! The lessons are tailored to just what our daughter needs in her interactions with her family and other peers. After each session we're given simple homework or resources to supplement the learning at home, which is great. We can't say enough good things about Ms. Becky.”

— ASHLEY K., PARENT

“Becky is an amazing speech therapist! I cannot believe how well my son is doing with his speech! He speaks fluently almost all the time after working with her for several months. Compared to what he was experiencing last school year, this is night and day. The difference I'm seeing is monumental.”

- JAMIE C.

“Becky is an incredible speech therapist and human. I have two kids who have worked with her and both have seen huge improvements. She is so personable and has met each of them at their level. She leans into their interests and makes her sessions fun and engaging. You can tell she loves and is passionate about what she does. I highly recommend her to anyone needing speech services.

- CHELSEA N.

“She took the time to understand our child's unique needs and tailored the sessions accordingly. Not only did she keep us informed every step of the way. We receive detailed updates on progress and helpful tips to reinforce the lessons at home.

Beyond the technical skills, she provided unwavering support and encouragement, boosting our child's confidence and motivation.”

— DIANET L., PARENT

“Becky is amazing! Our daughter has dealt with speech issues her whole life. We've been through multiple speech therapists prior to Becky, all with limited success. Becky has been something different. She's been patient and was able to figure out the right ways to connect with our daughter, and for the first time we finally started seeing substantial progress!”
